Reminders
School Lunches
Please don't forget to place your child's order for lunch through ParentPay by 8:00 am on the day. To avoid missing the deadline, we recommend that you order your child’s lunches well in advance - you can cancel or amend your orders up until 8:00 am on the day too.
Last Day of Term
Friday 19th December is the last day of term. It is a mufti day and the children may wear their own clothes to school - but no football kits please! School will close early on this day, and we are staggering dismissal to ensure the children can be collected promptly. Nursery & Reception will be dismissed at 1:20 pm; Years 1 & 2 at 1:25 pm, and Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 at 1:30 pm. Tree Tops will run just one full session from 1:30– 4:30 pm and this can be booked through ParentPay as normal.
Parent Volunteers
If you regularly help in the classroom, please check with your class teacher to confirm if you are needed at school next week. Timetables tend to change in the last week of term, especially at this festive time of year! Thank you for your continuing support – it is greatly appreciated by all the staff and the children you work with.

When Fran is sent to stay with her Uncle and Aunt while her parents are away on a business trip, the thing she is least looking forward to is having to spend time with her annoying cousin, Imogen. But when she arrives Imogen is not there and everyone seems to have forgotten that she exists at all. It has something to do with the mysterious hidden garden and sinister statues at Stillness Hall so she teams up with Imogen's friend Bex to investigate - even though Bex can't remember Imogen either!
The story is constructed with fairy tale-style inserts that explain the origin of the curse in between the chapters of Fran's narrative. This is an engaging standalone, MG fantasy - perfect for Upper KS2. |
