Children born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 start Year 7 at secondary school in September 2027.
Applications open on Tuesday 1 September 2026 and will close on Saturday 31 October 2026.
Use the eAdmissions website from 1st September to apply online for your child’s secondary school place. You must apply through the local authority which is responsible for administering the council tax for your home, even if you intend to name a school located in another area.
You do not need to complete an application if your child has an education, health and care plan (EHCP). Instead contact your assessment coordinator to discuss your child’s school placement.
National Offer Day is on Monday 1 March 2027. All on-time applicants will be sent an email during the evening of 1 March 2027 informing them of the result of their application. You will also be able to view this information by logging in to the eAdmissions website.
Further information, including the 2027 Kingston and Richmond Borough Admissions brochures and details of secondary school open events are published on the Achieving for Children (AfC) Kingston and Richmond website.
